Kitchen Supervisor

The Kitchen Supervisor is an essential role at Living Bible Explorers, where we value connecting at the table and serve food at all of our programs! The Kitchen Supervisor is a paid, part-time position with different hours/responsibilities in the summer vs. regular program seasons. Our desired start date is June 15, 2026.

2026 Summer discipleship program & ministry team

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2026 SUMMER

The LBE Summer Discipleship Program is a program dedicated to training up young leaders (ages 14-20) in Winnipeg’s core neighbourhoods (West End/North End) to minister meaningfully to their community, with a focus on growing as a follower of Jesus and gaining beneficial employment skills and experience.

Junior Leaders will participate in a Training Week at the start of the summer and a Debrief Week at the end. There will also be a practicum portion of the program, where Jr Leaders will step into the role of an LBE employee to help lead and run LBE Summer Camp for 4 weeks, including day camps based in Winnipeg and overnight camping experiences in St Malo.

We are hiring for three different positions. Please take a look at the job descriptions attached to each position!

  • Junior Leaders (will hire ~7) - Job Description - application deadline is May 3, 2026

SPECIAL NOTE: because of specific program needs, preference may be given to applicants with the following qualifications:
- Applicants who have or are willing to obtain their class 4 license before July (will reimburse for the cost)
- Applicants with a valid National Lifeguard license (will receive an additional honorarium for the lifeguarding hours worked)
