The Power of Prayer should not be underestimated

Just how powerful is prayer, and why should it not be underestimated? Scripture presents a reassuring example of the effectiveness of prayer, and its power in James 5: 16-18 (NIV).

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain,
and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.
Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.

If you have a computer and printer, click on the Staff Prayer Card below. Print it along with the Prayer Requests. Tape them to your refrigerator, or better yet, use them as bookmarks in your Bible as reminder to continually pray for LBE.

Be a Life-Saver year `round

You can be a Life Saver summer, fall, winter and spring! We run camps all year around because we get the most positive results with our kids when we get them out of the inner city into GOD`s natural environment. Our camps are uniquely designed for inner-city children and teens: programs that reach their very special hearts and minds.
