Living Bible Explorers is currently in the process of hiring three full time, year round staff members as well as individuals to work with us for the summer (May – August). Below is a list of positions available for full time and summer staff positions:

Summer Ministry Positions:

We are looking for 12-15 young adults to join the team of summer staff leading our programs. Summer staff need to be 18 year of age or older; they need to love God, and want to serve Him in the context of ministry this summer.

A few other qualities we would look for include:
• Administrative skills
• Interest in leadership/discipleship
• The ability to learn/be taught in a short period of time
• Possession of a class 5 driver’s license (Class 4 and 2 licenses are more than welcome as well!)

Full Time Positions:

General Manager

Living Bible Explorers (LBE) is seeking to hire a General Manager to oversee the ever increasing ministry to inner-city children, teens, and families. LBE has grown into a multi-faceted ministry which includes weekly clubs, weekend camps, and home visits, and has now added a brand new camp (Explorers Bible Camp) and a developing outdoor education ministry (Explore! Wilderness Adventures) and discipleship program. For this we are grateful to the Lord!

Boys’ Ministry Coordinator: 3 Positions Available

Boy’s Children’s Coordinator (grades 1-4)

Boy’s Middle Years Coordinator (grades 5-8)

Boy’s Senior Teen’s Coordinator (grades 9-12)

Applicants will have the following qualifications:
  • Post secondary degree (or related experience) preferable in youth ministry, education or related field an asset.
  • Class 2 bus license an asset, willingness to be trained to acquire bus license, a requirement.
  • An active member of a church community
  • Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team of diverse and interdenominational team members
  • Ability to lead worship an asset
Position duties will include:
  • Program development – find, create, and provide teaching curriculum for youth programming
  • Assisting and leading teaching times as necessary
  • Actively ensure boys are being mentored and trained
  • Recruiting and training volunteers for programs
  • Oversee planning and directing of weekend camps and summer programs
  • Maintaining and growing a visitation route that consists of children, teens, and families involved in our programs
